Chamonix sits at the base of the majestic Mount Blanc in France, only 1hr with Ski Transfers from Geneva airport, and is often recognized as the mountaineering and skiing capital of France. Chamonix town is known as a veritable area for extreme activities in summer and winter seasons. There is a large sports and swimming center, cross country skiing, paragliding and weekly market with fresh local produce; and lots of boutiques, terraced caf©s and night-clubs, Chamonix offers a mix of mountaineering, atmosphere and aprs ski, that only a few snowboarding domains can come close to.
